Una bellissima vacanza con la famiglia Furlan

A few thoughts coming to mind after a few very enjoyable days in Newport, Wales.
Among all nice things we did with some dear friends – visiting Newport, strolling around the pretty village of Carleon, visiting the annual art festival, climbing the Newport cathedral tower… – I have something very trivial to report: I couldn’t help to compare the drinking patterns in the UK and in Belgium by looking at the male pissoir in pub’s toilets. What a wonderful party we had today at Anna and Giovanni’s!
It was great to enjoy such a good company, music and food!
Here’s a video highlight of the evening:
This is sweet… Since 1992 nearly 30,000 plastic bath toys are floating on the Pacific Ocean after they were released into the water when a container was washed off a cargo ship. This is the quintessence of British humour. Rowan Atkinson welcomes newcomers to hell and has a special word for everyone, including … the French!

Ieri sera ci siamo divertiti a fare il Brain-Wiring test, dal libro Why Men Don’t Listen and Women Can’t Read Maps.
